RESPONSE: PAKISTAN: Rubina's life still in danger

Dear General Musharraf,

I am writing to you in the hope that you will see fit to offer proper legal assistance to Robina Khan who is due to be executed tomorrow. It is apparent she has not be offered the legal assistance to which she is entitled and therefore, should not under any circumstances, be executed. It is imperative that she be given the consideration due to any human being. She is a young mother who has been unreasonably tried and convicted. Please give her the help she needs to overcome this terrible situation. Robina has already suffered a miscarriage which in itself is an awful experience. She is illiterate and the fear she would be experiencing through this would be tremendous. Again I ask you to please offer her the legal and medical aid to which she is entitled as a member of the human race.

Thankyou,

Susan Shubert
